Process

Booking and Measurement

Your kitchen transformation begins with precise measurements, and we offer two options to get started. You can schedule a professional measurement with us, or you can measure the space yourself—or have a contractor do it—and share the dimensions with us. Our measurement service is often free, depending on the project location. If you choose to measure on your own, we recommend focusing not only on your existing cabinets but also on the entire area. Here are some helpful tips:

Begin by measuring wall lengths carefully, noting both the actual dimensions and any planned layout changes. Measure the ceiling height from floor to ceiling, accounting for any soffits, beams, or obstacles along the way. Include all room features such as windows, doors, openings, gas lines, and plumbing in your layout. For instance, record window frame dimensions and their exact distances from corners. Identify and mark all obstacles—like soffits, beams, columns, and pipes—on the layout with precise measurements to ensure an accurate plan.

Kitchen Design Ideas and Professional Consultation

Once measurements are complete, our designer will guide you through the design phase. You can discuss your preferences for cabinet style, color, and layout. Our showroom provides an opportunity to view styles and materials firsthand and work with a designer to bring your ideas to life. Alternatively, we can coordinate the design process via email for your convenience. Using advanced 3D design software, our designers will create a detailed, virtual model of your kitchen, allowing you to visualize the space in real-time. This interactive 3D experience lets you make on-the-spot adjustments, ensuring the design is exactly what you envision.

Pricing

After finalizing the design, we’ll provide a comprehensive quote detailing the costs for each component. You’ll receive a clear breakdown of pricing, allowing you to see the cost variations associated with different styles, colors, or configurations. Our goal is to ensure transparency so you can make informed decisions within your budget.

Contract and Ordering

Once you’re satisfied with the design and pricing, we move on to the contract phase. We’ll review the contract details with you, addressing any questions before you sign. To initiate the ordering process, a deposit is required. Following this, we’ll place the order for your cabinets, which will then be manufactured according to the specifications. Production times vary based on the manufacturer and order size, and we’ll keep you informed of the timeline.

Delivery

When your cabinets are ready, one of our sales representatives will contact you to schedule a delivery time that fits your availability. On delivery day, you’ll need to settle the remaining balance on your cabinet contract. We handle all logistics to ensure a smooth delivery process, so everything is ready for the final steps.

Installation

At the time of quoting, we’ll offer our professional installation services. Should you choose us for installation, our experienced team will handle the process from start to finish. Alternatively, if you prefer to work with your own contractor, we will provide detailed design plans and support to ensure everything is executed seamlessly. For customers choosing our installation services, the cost is determined by project size and calculated separately from the cabinet and material costs.

By following this six-step process, we make kitchen remodeling straightforward and enjoyable. From the initial measurement to the final installation, our team is dedicated to delivering a kitchen that’s tailored to your needs, tastes, and lifestyle.

Easy Remodeling Checklist

To make your kitchen remodel as smooth as possible, we’ve created a detailed checklist to guide your preparations.

1. Prepare the Area for Deconstruction

  • Remove all valuable items and furniture from the project area to prevent damage.
  • Use drop cloths or coverings for items in adjacent rooms to protect them from dust and debris.
  • Take down any items hanging on nearby walls, including artwork, mirrors, or shelves, as vibrations may cause them to fall.
  • Check your air filters at the start of the project to ensure good air quality and consider replacing them once the renovation is complete.

2. Designate a Temporary Kitchen

  • Set up a temporary kitchen space, ideally with access to a water source.
  • Utilize your laundry room or bathroom for washing dishes if a sink is unavailable in the temporary kitchen.
  • Set up essentials like a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster in a safe location.
  • Stock up on disposable plates, cups, and utensils to minimize dishwashing and make cleanup easier.

3. Provide Support to Your Installers

  • Designate a bathroom for the installers to use during the renovation.
  • Request daily work area cleanup, although our team is trained to maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Identify a storage area for design plans, work tools, and any materials needed for the project.
  • Choose convenient parking spots for your installers to ensure easy access to the work area.

4. Be Ready for the Delivery

  • Prepare a storage area for newly delivered kitchen cabinets, countertops, and other products until installation.
  • Inspect all products carefully upon delivery for any damages or issues and report these to your designer promptly.
  • Keep in regular contact with your designer to confirm the arrival of all items and discuss any concerns.

5. Prepare for Utility Adjustments (if needed)

  • If plumbing or electrical work is required, plan for temporary adjustments to water, gas, or power availability.
  • Confirm with your contractor any necessary steps to prepare for these changes to avoid unexpected interruptions.

6. Expect Some Dust and Noise

  • Be prepared for dust, noise, and activity during construction; it’s all part of the process!
  • If sensitive to dust, consider setting up a temporary air purifier in adjacent rooms to minimize exposure.

7. Enjoy Your Dream Kitchen Renovation!

  • Take a moment to admire your beautiful new kitchen.
  • Host a gathering or party to celebrate the completion of your renovation.
  • As a thoughtful gesture, consider inviting your designer to celebrate the transformation!

This checklist ensures you’re fully prepared for a smooth remodeling experience. Each step brings you closer to enjoying your stunning new kitchen!

FAQ

To measure your kitchen accurately, start by measuring the width, height, and depth of the space where the cabinets will go. Measure from the floor to the ceiling for tall cabinets, and take note of any obstacles like windows or outlets. It can be helpful to create a detailed floor plan to visualize the layout.

We offer both options: you can choose our professional installation services, or, if you prefer, hire an independent contractor for the installation.

If your cabinets arrive damaged or with missing parts, we will work quickly to resolve the issue. Contact us right away, and we’ll help you to report the incident and coordinate with the manufacturer to replace damaged items or supply missing parts as soon as possible, ensuring your project stays on track.

Each cabinet brand we offer comes with its own specific warranty policy, which may cover various aspects such as material defects, workmanship, and hardware. Warranty terms, including coverage duration and what is included, can vary by brand, so we recommend reviewing the details for each manufacturer to understand exactly what is covered.
